Using an alternate mail client

Because of the variety of mail clients available, we cannot provide instructions for all possible applications. However, if you can find the settings page for your application, you should be able to add your new lacagwm.org account to your app. Follow these generic steps and you should be able to add your account to your preferred application. There is never a need to specify server settings. If you find yourself on a page being prompted for server settings, start the process over and try again.

  1. Open your app and find the settings page

  2. Find where the accounts are listed

  3. Tap the appropriate button to add an account (it may be a + icon)

  4. When presented with options for account type, choose the option that closely matches one of the options below
    • Exchange
    • Microsoft Exchange
    • Microsoft Account
    • Office 365
  5. When prompted, type in your email address

  6. When prompted, type in your password

  7. If this is your first time logging in, you’ll be prompted to create a permanent password. In the Current Password field, enter your temporary password. Then create a new permanent password, type it in both remaing fields, and click Sign in.
